Mantor extends the production units of Plastipak Romania Mantor Romania (www.mator.ro), leader on the Romanian construction market, has begun the building of a new industrial hall for Plastipak, in addition to the factories the company already owns in Urlati, Prahova. „For this project, we aim at meeting the high standards of FM Global, the insurance company we are working with, so we will implement safety systems above the usual Romanian standards, including anti-fire systems. Mantor has developed many similar projects in the past, and collaborating with Plastipak is part of our plan of development on this segment. We have high hopes that, in the near future, we will build 2-3 similar projects per year”, has stated Tomas Manjon, Managing Partner of Mantor. Plastipak, global leader in the packaging design and development industry has invested over 2,000,000eurofor expanding the warehouse space, making interior changes and expanding the office area, as well as for placing two silos, for which the construction works are set to be completed in October, 2017. „The building of a new manufacturing hall will have an impact on increasing the employment rate in the city of Urlati and will represent a major contribution to the economic development of the area. We are very pleased that there are investors on the market who can bring so much value to our town”, has declared Marian Machitescu, Mayor of Urlati. The Urlati factory represents the world’s 23rd Plastipak production area to serve customers such as Pepsi and Procter & Gamble.
