Armani Exchange continues its on-going retail expansion with the opening of its new store on the ground floor of the shopping centre Baneasa Shopping City, in Bucharest, Romania.
The 190-square-meter store features the new retail design concept that is being implemented for the relaunch of the A|X Armani Exchange brand. This is inspired by the aesthetic of a contemporary industrial hangar, and makes use of strong materials. Raw steel, aged wood and concrete evoke the look and youthful spirit of a dynamic New York-style industrial interior.
It’s an urban setting, where the passage of time has created streaks on industrial wooden-planked floors and there are unexpected textures on rough concrete walls; the colour of rust coats every metal surface.
Full glass windows and a big horizontal beam define the entrance, while, internally, floors made from industrial planks of wood, and concrete walls, create a space characterised by strong materials that have a powerful sensorial impact. The store is anchored centrally by two large identifying emblems – an “A” and an “X”.
Armani Exchange opened the doors to its store in the shopping centre Baneasa Shopping City with the launch of the autumn/winter 2017-2018 collection. The Armani Exchange men’s autumn/winter 2017-2018 collection is a hybrid of elegance and activewear. The spirit is fast and metropolitan, and the clothes invite the free mixing and overlapping of styles to express one’s personality. The women’s collection has a changeable, metropolitan character, and features the brand logo redesigned in new versions, and cut-out effects. The emphasis is on masculine style interpreted through a feminine lens, a classic Armani theme.
