In licensed partnership with AmRest, a new Starbucks store serving rare, small-lot Starbucks Reserve coffees has opened its doors in downtown Bucharest on busy Lipscani Street. Alongside this range of carefully selected coffees, the store features three innovative brewing methods including the Clover® brewing system. This new store offers guests an elevated coffee experience and space to relax, meet with friends and family, or simply work or study.
Guests are invited to enjoy a classic Starbucks espresso drink or try a coffee brewed with one of the innovative methods on offer, such as a Chemex, pour-over or Clover – each bringing out a different flavour aspect of the coffee. Customers are able to choose from some of the world’s rarest small-lot coffees – Ethiopia, Jamaica, Honduras, each unique in flavour and only available for a few months and in small quantities.
“We are thrilled to bring Starbucks Reserve coffees alongside these innovative brewing methods in such a beautiful new store for our Bucharest customers. Customers can explore the full range of some of the finest Starbucks coffees or try our delicious pastries and savoury foods while they relax.” said Mateusz Sielecki – Regional Director for Starbucks Romania and Bulgaria.
The 395 sqm store has an industrial look and feel, and is split on two levels, creating wide open spaces. The original architecture and striking features such as the staircase and railings have been carefully preserved. Cozy seating allows customers to lean back and enjoy the perfectly roasted coffee blends and the tempting aromas of some of the world’s finest coffees.
