Adobe Romania received its forth consecutive Best Employer Award, following the annual study conducted by Aon Romania. The study involved an anonymous survey, where over 25.000 employees from the 41 participating companies responded.
“Every year, Adobe Romania attends the study conducted by AON Hewitt, because, as it is an independent study across Europe, it follows the same methodology and standards for all countries. Thus, we find its result relevant and consistent to the reality of the organizations. The employees respond voluntarily and anonymously to the survey, so the results are important as internal analysis. It’s the fourth consecutive award we receive and we are glad to see that, while the company develops and the number of employees grows, we also keep an attractive and motivating work environment.” says Cris Radu, Senior Director of Engineering and Site Leader Adobe Romania.
The Aon Best Employers Study is designed to measure the professional involvement of the human resource and pursues criteria such as engagement, the perception of sharing the company’s financial success, wage equity, trust in colleagues, the satisfaction of benefits received by employees and their families, recognition of merits or career opportunities.
“The Aon Study results represent a relevant feedback from the team. The survey was answered by over 70% of my colleagues in Adobe Romania, so the fact that we again got a high score and we were nominated Best Employer shows us the involvement and are an insight that they feel good in the organization. It’s an indicator that our philosophy works and that Adobe remains a top employer in the IT market in Romania” adds Cris Radu.
Among the benefits that have contributed to keeping the company in Best Employer position over the last 4 years is that, in addition to competitive salaries, all Adobe Romania employees receive a performance package of non-financial benefits such as medical and dental insurance for themselves and their family, sports equipment and fitness subscription reinbursement or life insurance. They also have the option to buy Adobe stock with a preferential proftable price or even receive complimentary stock packages.
“Beyond the financial and non-financial benefits, Adobe Romania employees appreciate their involvement in the development of worldwide recognized software products, with a global impact. In addition, they work in teams of highly trained colleagues and feel they have constantly something to learn. Regardless of the position, we are always looking to hire the best people. We target the top 5%, the most prepared both when considering the technical abilities and knowledge, but also from the soft skills perspective. It’s important to maintain a pleasant, relaxed, comfortable and friendly atmosphere, so that everyone feels they are developping personally and professionally” says Cris Radu.
Last year Adobe Romania expanded its team with more that 100 people, surpassing the 500 employees threshold. The engineerings are actively working to develop global Adobe products, many of them leaders in their market segment. Over the past 4 years, Adobe Romania has been focusing on Cloud Computing and Big Data, a global trend for which the Romanian engineers show high level skills. This has allowed our expansion on an existing need in Adobe and so we brought to Romania the development of interesting and globally important products for the company.
