The Alexandrion Group, which has recently made public the adoption of a new corporate structure, announces the appointment of Stephane Barbazan, the top executive with more than 25 years of experience on the international hotel market, on the new position of Tourism & Hospitality Chief Operations Officer.
The decision of the group marks an important stage in the company’s evolution: undertaking the commitment to redefine the hospitality label and achieving the goal of becoming a top player in Romania.
Stephane Barbazan is a French professional with over 25 years of international experience in tourism and hospitality in countries such as France, Cuba, the US or China. With studies completed at the Hotel & Tourism Business School VATEL in Paris, Stephane has enriched his knowledge of numerous hotel and economical trainings, being responsible over time for the growth strategy of premium hotel brands in the portfolio Accor such as Novotel Beijing, Mercure Coralia Varadeo Cuba Hotel, Grand Mercure Oriental Ginza Shenzhen.
Stephane’s first experience with Romania took place in 2012, when he took over as General Manager the operations of the Novotel Bucharest Hotel.
