The figures for Filadelfia Tourism and Ruefa Escape Travel recorded a 30% increase over the first 6 months of 2018 compared to last year.
Increases were also felt at the level of the other companies in the group with activities in the fields of passenger transport, freight transport, and insurance. Thus, in the first six months of the year 2018, group increases were: Tabita Tour (25%), Tabita Tour (8.5%) and Filadelfia International Logistics (14%).
The Filadelfia Tourism Strategy for 2019 looks at the continued growth of the market and is based on streamlining and strengthening the team and services offered. In this context, for 2019, an increase of at least 40% compared to 2018 is estimated.
Given the fact that exotic destinations are more and more sought after every year for 2018, a real success was the Thai-Phuket flight packages from Cluj-Napoca, launched for the first time on the Romanian tourism market by Filadelfia Tourism. Thus, autumn packages for this destination were reserved for 80%. According to the recorded sales, the other exotic destinations most requested for 2018 were: Dominican Republic, Mexico, Maldives and Bali. The top selling destinations were also Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Spain (Costa Brava) and Egypt.
The trend for destinations in 2019 will be similar to that of the current year, demand for exotic destinations such as Thailand and the Maldives being rising.
