In urban, the average was 5,000 viewers per minute (all day). Thus, Eurosport 2 adds to the Discovery Media Portfolio in Romania, currently managing Discovery Channel, Eurosport 1, TLC, Animal Planet, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild and Bollywood TV. For Discovery Media, this represents an increase in the market share of 5%, together with an increase in the local portfolio, which will include eight open local TV channels. With a mainly male target, Eurosport 2 also addresses the female audience through more competitions such as tennis, athletics, and winter sports. Among the most watched competitions at Eurosport 2 are: World Snooker, Cycling and Motor Sports, North American Football League – MLS. Among the top Eurosport 2 audiences in 2018, the final quarterfinals of the Roland Garros tournament between Simona Halep and Angelique Kerber are one of the best examples.
