The biggest transaction of the year: Microsoft Romania moves to Campus 6, developed by Skanska Skanska leased to Microsoft Romania 22,905 sqm of office space and 500 parking spaces in Campus 6 Bucharest and the company will move in the third quarter of 2020. Campus Complex will be ready in June 2022 consisting of four office buildings with a lettable area of approximately 81,000 m 2 and a garden area of 7,500 m 2 . Situated at the intersection of two main boulevards, Iuliu Maniu and Vasile Milea, the complex benefits from excellent visibility, providing excellent access to public transport (underground and streetcar, buses, trolleybuses at a distance of 50 m ). Mobile Campus 6 will connect all of the complex and neighborhood services, providing building information, event news, offering services such as complex food delivery and maintenance services. Specifically, the application is part of the Connected by Skanska system that integrates intelligent functionality with interaction facilities for communities within the office complex. Users will have a car sharing service as well as parking places for electric cars with fast charging stations. Also, those who come by bicycle to the office can find inside the building dressing rooms and showers. Buildings in which Microsoft will move will be certified LEED Gold and WELL Silver, built according to Skanska’s sustainable development principles with care and respect for the environment and tenants’ wellbeing. Employees will benefit from a rooftop running track as well as green work areas equipped with multifunctional furniture, electrical sockets and Wi-Fi to work directly from nature. “Innovation, both for us and for Microsoft, is essential in addressing each project.
