The Starbucks coffee shop chain opened its 44th unit in Romania, on the ground floor of the Day Tower building on Unirii Boulevard, reaching three locations in this area of the capital. Within couple of days, the chain also opened the 45th location in the Campus 6.1 office complex, developed in the Polytechnic area, on Iuliu Maniu Blvd., counting on the large number of students, but also on the corporate employees in the area.
The new café in Politehnica area covers an area of 204 square meters and has a modern, minimalist and cool design, to the liking of the younger generation, focusing on spacious, very comfortable spaces, where customers can relax or work or learn for the session.
“Unirii Square is one of the most important economic poles in the city, so we are happy to bring Starbucks coffee expertise to the largest office building in Unirii Square, Day Tower,” said Karol Żuradzki, Regional Manager of Romania and Bulgaria.
On the Romanian market Starbucks earned 101 million lei last year, one third higher than in 2016 and almost double compared to 2015.
