On Saturday, November 17, the British Council awaits young people interested in studying in the UK at a new edition of the Study UK Exhibition at the Sheraton Hotel in Bucharest. Entry is free, and participants can register for free at www.britishcouncil.ro.
With over 10 free information seminars and a fair where they can meet British university representatives, the event provides young people with the opportunity to receive up-to-date information and advice on their studies in the UK.
A novelty in this year’s edition of this year is the “Alumni Insights” sessions with leading UK graduates from the UK, where young people interested in British education in areas such as science, IT, medicine or business will be able to find out information and advice about student life, academic expectations and professional opportunities. The Alumni Insights sessions take place on Saturday, November 17, from 13.30 and 15.00 at the Study UK Exhibition.
The UK education sector is one of the most international in the world. Great Britain continues to be a top destination for Romanian students, and students and teachers from EU and other countries are still more than welcome. Students in the European Union will also have access to government grants for studies in the UK in 2019, and study fees will remain unchanged.
