Forte Partners consolidates its stock of premium locations for office developments by purchasing the plot of land next to the Telephones Palace.

Forte Partners expands its portfolio with the 1,700 square meters land sold by Telekom Romania, located between Ion Câmpineanu Street and Matei Millo Street. The land characteristics allow up to 9,000 square meters of office spaces and areas for the employees of the future tenants. The company also considers other plots of land in the same area, given the current trading opportunities.

Known in the market for its successful developments of Class A office buildings, Forte Partners has implemented a comprehensive development plan by continuously acquiring lands in central locations, completing ongoing projects and creating a strong residential division. The residential division started with prizes won at the Bucharest Architecture Annual and very good sales for the projects under development.

“We believe in office developments in central and ultra-central areas and we rely on architecture, ergonomics, optimization and design thinking. The city centre does not have a relevant Class A office offer. We have a reputable history ofarchitecture of great quality and the ability to integrate developments into the urban fabric, as well as the power to make non-speculative developments for which there are already actual plans with our customers,” said Geo Mărgescu, Founder Forte Partners.

The land is located in a historical area of the Capital, in the immediate vicinity of the Telephones Palace, the first tall building in Bucharest built on a metallic structure. On the same segment of Victoriei Street, there is also Capșa Hotel, the Palace of the National Military Circle built by Carol I, the recently refurbished Grand Hotel du Boulevard, as well as other buildings of historical and architectural interest.

“Such a context needs an appropriate approach, thus we consider organizing an architecture competition. Developing new office buildings near Victoriei Street is a beautiful business opportunity, but at the same time a chance to create an iconic contemporary building for the city centre and new public spaces,” added Geo Mărgescu.

Forte Partners is currently working on expanding the teams for its office and residential divisions and attracting talented and experiencedpeople in this field, given the magnitude of the already planned developments.
