At the year-on-year level, we estimate a 20% increase in TV sales, generated by both the Romanians’ desire to watch this summer’s football matches on high performance TVs and the diversified offer that we will continue to have category of products, “says Mihai Patrascu, evoMAG CEO. The TV category has also recorded an increase in the average purchase price since the beginning of the year, a consequence including the increase in the purchasing power of the Romanians. Unlike last year, customers are willing to pay more for a TV if they have the latest generation of technology. The average price for a TV has risen from 1,500 lei in 2017 to over 1,800 lei this year.
