Farmec, the most important Romanian cosmetics producer, announces that the network of the 16 Gerovital brand stores registered a turnover of more than Ron 13 million (EUR 2.8 million), just 2 years after its establishment. Since the beginning of 2018, there have been 3 national inaugurations, Gerovital store network reaching 16 units since the opening of the first store in Romania in September 2016.

In September 2016, we opened the first Gerovital store in Bucharest and the excellent results following the inauguration led us to constantly invest in the expanding his network, transforming it into an important strategic direction for the future development of the Farmec business. Since the beginning of this year, we have inaugurated 3 other Gerovital stores in Oradea, Cluj-Napoca and Constanta and we have already moved to the network’s expansion in Bucharest. We’re already planning and working on other inaugurations, targeting only the centres that meet our standards and the “Doctor in beauty” concept of all Gerovital stores” said Mircea Turdean, Farmec General Manager.
In addition to the opening of 3 new stores in 2018 in Oradea, Cluj-Napoca and Constanta, the Cluj producer also extended the Gerovital space in Veranda Mall Bucharest. The Gerovital store was relocated at the ground floor of the shopping center, near the main entrance and now has a larger surface of more than 50 square meters.
The average shopping cart value is over 70 RON, up to 40% percent compared to the first year since the establishment of the Gerovital brand store network. Client’s traffic is also maintained on a positive trend. In the last year, for instance, Gerovital’s national network of stores registered a number of 12.000 monthly visitors.
All the products from the Gerovital and Aslavital brands portfolio can be found in the brand stores. Among the highest selling ranges of this year are: Gerovital H3 Derma Premium Care, Gerovital H3 Evolution, Gerovital Treatment Expert, as well as the latest lines, Gerovital Beauty and Gerovital Luxury.
Aslavital products, a unique brand on the local market, available in all Gerovital stores, are being developed by using 100% Romanian pure clay, from Padurea Craiului Mountains.
Gerovital stores have national coverage, being present in 12 cities all around the country. Currently, in Bucharest, there are 3 Gerovital stores, more accurately in Park Lake, Veranda Mall and Afi Palace Cotroceni. In Cluj-Napoca, there are 2 Gerovital stores – in Platinia Shopping Center and Iulius Mall. Other Gerovital centers are located in VIVO Shopping Center and City Park Mall in Constanta, Shopping City in Galati, Electroputere Park in Craiova, Iulius Mall Iasi, Lotus Center Oradea, Shopping City Shopping Center Piatra Neamt and Shopping City Ramnicu Valcea, Iulius Mall Suceava, Iulius Mall Timisoara, as well as in Afi Ploiesti Shopping Center.
