Real Estate Consultancy Colliers International advised AdsWizz, a digital audio advertising technology company, to relocate SkyTower’s 35th floor office, the tallest office building in Romania, located in the Floreasca – Barbu Vacarescu area, in the immediate vicinity of metro station Aurel Vlaicu.

AdsWizz will move in October in SkyTower, where it will occupy an area of ​​1,300 square meters, with the possibility of expansion. The rental transaction was advised by Daniela Popescu, Associate Director and Alexandru Orzea, Senior Associate in the office department of Colliers International.

“In the past few months, the team has grown significantly, rising towards the end of the year and in 2019. Moving into SkyTower comes as a necessity but at the same time as an event that enjoys our employees. SkyTower will benefit from a more modern infrastructure that will help us carry out our work effectively, as well as a greater level of comfort for our team. We are delighted that AdsWizz’s new headquarters will be one of the most modern office buildings in the capital. We are also pleased that we have managed to remain in the Promenade area – Aurel Vlaicu, to ensure our employees have easy access to new offices,” said Anamaria Leupdatu, HR Manager of AdsWizz EMEA.

Currently, AdsWizz has approximately 160 employees globally, with headquarters in San Mateo, USA. Most of the employees are in the Engineering Center in Bucharest, where more than 120 people work in the Engineering, Product and Operations teams, as well as HR and Finance. The company also has offices in New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Brussels and Tokyo.

The acquisition of AdsWizz, Google Advertising Audio, by US streaming giant Pandora Media Inc. announced a few months ago. for 145 Million Dollars. As a result of this transaction and the growth of the digital audio advertising market, AdsWizz considers significant increases in the number of employees.

“We are talking more and more often with medium-sized companies, especially the IT&C industry or related industries, which have accelerated growth plans for the next three to five years. These staff increases entail complex real estate needs, which we analyze with the HR teams of our clients from an early stage. We expect such 700-1,500 square meters of expansion to become more frequent in the coming period, especially in very good quality buildings located in the vicinity of a shopping center or historically preferred area of ​​tenants”, said  Alexandru Orzea, Senior Associate, Office Agency, Colliers International.
