Mazars Romania and Mazars Germany have the pleasure to invite you, on November 28th, at a business breakfast dedicated to the Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive (ATAD).

Given the international taxation context, the European Union has set out to implement its own set of taxation measures to limit aggressive tax planning within the EU single market. The result was the adoption of the ATAD.

Romania has already implemented the directive with entry into force on January 1st, 2018. Additionally, Germany will also follow suit in two phases starting with January 1st, 2019.

This Business Breakfast is aimed at tackling questions from the perspective of the ATAD implementation in both Romania and Germany and the impact on Romanian-German group company relations.

Main topics discussed:
§ Challenges for Romanian subsidiaries and German mother companies caused by ATAD;
§ The Romanian perspective on the local implementation of the ATAD and its impact in the context of the German implementation;
§ Romanian transfer pricing legislation in the context of anti-abuse measures in the ATAD era.
