Next small business boom in Bucharest? Face masks! Local resident Adina Casas has a new essential and creative business in pandemic-era Bucharest: craftily sewn masks! The sewn masks are well lined with flannel or muslin and 100% cotton. Remember to wash your masks in between use. Adina recommends iron them out as well to be on the safe side. “Mascasas is all about staying safe while expressing your personality and identity even with a mask on” Adina tells OZB. “You want your friends to recognise you during the pandemic, so why not make the masks fun, colourful and distinctive?” Adina recommends the Alice in Wonderland variety if you are the literary type, or perhaps the car adorned masks for driving fanatics or commuters. The Facebook page has a Shop section where you can choose your fabric and then place the order in a direct message. It usually takes between 2-3 business days to complete the order. Payment can be made via bank transfer, Revolut or PayPal. There is one special design (de Romania) which is used to collect money for charity. 10 lei of each mask from this design go to SOS Satele Copiilor.
