Bucharest National Airports Company (Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport and Bucharest-Baneasa International Airport Aurel Vlaicu) registered in the first six months of 2018 an air traffic of 6,34 million passengers and 64.815 thousand aircraft movements (landings and take-offs ).
Of the total, Henri Coanda Airport recorded 6,33 million passengers and 57,797 thousand aircraft movements.
The number of passengers crossing Bucharest’s airports in the first half of 2018 registered an increase of 7.08% over the same period last year.
The evolution of the number of passengers at the two airports of the Bucharest National Airport Company is in line with the general European trend. At airports in Bucharest there was also an increase in the number of aircraft movements, surpassing the statistics of the first six months of 2017 by 4.76%.
At the Henri Coanda International Airport in Bucharest, 49 airline companies currently operate, which transport passengers to 110 destinations.
