Bucharest National Opera presents “Româneşte”, Extraordinary Concert dedicated to the Centenary of the Great Union (Demo)

Bucharest National Opera presents on Thursday, December 6, 18:30, “Româneşte” event , an Extraordinary Concert dedicated to the Centenary of the Great Union. The concert will bear the signature of Cristina Costescu, the conductor will be the master Ionuţ Pascu, the event of the first lyrical scene of the country being presented by Anca Banda.


Characterized by uniqueness and originality, the concert brings together in a show made up of an exclusive Romanian repertoire, Romanian artists who have represented over time the country both on the stage of the Bucharest National Opera and the great scenes of the world.

In order to reconsider the role of national history and culture, famous works from the Romanian creation will be performed on the stage of the Bucharest National Opera House, as guests with Florina Hinsu Mariş, Dinu Iancu Sălăjanu, Remus Alăzăroae, Vlad Miriţă, Lăcrimioara Cristescu , Carmen Topciu, Laura Eftimie, Asineta Răducan, Florin Mariş Hinsu. Together with the invited artists, soloists such as Marta Sandu, Simonida Luţescu, Ştefan Ignat, Lucian Corchiş, Justinian Zetea and Alin Stoica will evolve. The solo piano will be played by Ioana Maria Lupascu. With the participation of All`s Choir and the Bucharest National Opera Orchestra.

In order for the evening to remain in the memory of the audience as a unique event, a special moment devoted to Romanian ballet will be the interpretation by the ballet performers of the Bucharest National Opera of a fragment from “Toaca ” by Ion Maxim in a choreography bearing the signature of Master John Tugearu. Moreover, two permanent exhibitions will be organized in the foyer of the Bucharest National Opera : “Centenary – 5 generations. Bihor’s Folk Art Exhibition “ and ” Arges and Muscel Folk Art Exhibition “.

The “Româneşte” event , an extraordinary concert dedicated to the Centenary of the Great Union, is part of a series of performances marking the 100th anniversary of the completion of the Romanian national state by uniting the Romanian provinces with Romania. Artistic, cultural and political figures from all over the country will be in the hall attending the event as witnesses to a history page that will be written with the input of the audience.
